Crypto utopias is a diverse blend of independent artists’ visions, a first ever multi-artist collection coming from Poland. It features one piece/vision per collaborating artist (or a duo), curated by CoopTech Hub and Śmierć Człowieka (Death of Man) Gallery.

The collection questions the future of art, not only in terms of content but also in formal dimension. Is experimental tech like NFT solving anything really, or adding to the ethical conundrums of XXI century? Or maybe it is a signum temporis that will leave no (material) trace?

Crypto utopias is a clash of autonomous visions of surveillance capitalism: what it is, what it promises and who it (dis)empowers. Those seemingly divergent pieces together show the jarring world we live in. We present here a cacophony of the new hybrid reality, but it is up to the users to envision whether it is utopian or dystopian – and what to do about it.
