I captured this photo while on a road trip in California in 2016. I was driving through the Redwoods and pulled over to take photos of the road going through this ancient forest, when my dog Millie stuck her head out the window. I captured this image, and it brings me back to that special feeling of traveling alone across America with my dog.
Captured on Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians and Tolowa Dee-ni’ indigenous lands.
