In its exploration of paramnesia, Joseph Conti defines the moment when Okypede, a monstrous being who was half lion and half woman, invoked the intervention of the paradoxical. . On this work, Joseph depicts the scene that served as a preparatory speculation for a thesis on the action of Lar. The subject is one of the most enigmatic of the whole series.
