Phenku proudly presents "Tanuki Bird Blue" by Mr. Brian Design, the first of twelve artist collabs featuring 12 respected artists from across the metaverse.
Mr.Brian Design is an educator and artist from New York, currently living in Japan for almost twenty years. Mr.Brian's background is in the children's toy industry, art toys, and street fashion. He has worked for Bandai, Hasbro, Fisher-Price, Alife NYC, Stussy, SHIPS, and many more. Mr.Brian was part of the first wave of art toys in America in the early 2000s. His most notable toy project was the design and production of the Official Beat-Boxing Biz Markie Doll. Brian opened his own classroom in Kyushu, Japan where he teaches English and Art to Japanese Kids and self-publishes his own educational materials. His most recent endeavors besides entering the NFT space, include an ongoing series of mixed media portraiture that has been exhibited in galleries and retail spaces throughout Japan.
