In 2020 he continued to drive for the Haas F1 team. At the Eifel Grand Prix, Grosjean finished in 9th place and scored his only points of the season. Romain Grosjean's horror accident at the Bahrain Grand Prix remains one of the biggest shocking moments in the F1 history. Shortly after the start, he crashed directly into a guard rail and his car burst into flames. Thankfully Grosjean was able to save himself from the burning wreck, with thanks to his suit which protected him for 10 seconds against a temperature of 1000 degrees celsius.
