Darakeh and Darband are two neighborhoods in the north of Tehran.
These neighborhoods are considered suitable places for walking in Tehran due to their location in the northern mountains of Tehran.
And it is considered one of the northernmost neighborhoods of Tehran.
These two places are very popular places for couples to go and eat local food and snacks.
In this piece, a Qajar couple is eating Baghali in one of these neighborhoods.
Lithography is a method of printing originally based on the immiscibility of oil and water. The printing is from a stone or a metal plate with a smooth surface. It was invented in 1796 by the German author and actor Alois Senefelder, Iranian lithography was imported to Iran in 1845 by Abbas Mirza. Nowadays this art has become a forgotten style.
Iranian lithography is a folk art that I have combined pop art with.
