This piece is titled: "fireworks". Usually, in the United States, the Fourth of July is an awe inspiring event with massive bangs and explosions over cityscapes, or fields, or seaside, wherever you may be. But this was a lazy summer, hanging out in a calm lake, with friends. Only a few explosions disrupted the silence that night, and the burst of light against the calmness of the water, and the mysticism of the sky, made for a quiet, serene, moment.
