During 2020 alot of people went through mental health struggles, and when being so alone and disconnected your brain can start telling you things that aren't true. The veil represents feeling like no one can see you, but you are still there looking to connect - but being isolated puts that barrier up and even though you can virtually see everyone and talk to everyone - there is still a part that you can't access.
