When one point seamlessly leads into another - in the mind, in the spirit, in the moment - we’re reminded of how transitions can feel disjunct…disorganized…illogical….with no indication of proper alignment between points.
Yet some points come with effortless flow between them…where the transition is as smooth as conventional harmony…blissful like a perfectly positioned cadence….tonic to dominant - dominant to tonic.
Exposition to development, development to recapitulation. Growth to expansion, expansion to recovery.
An effortlessness so organic, it's felt deeply in the unconscious...yet consciously it's hardly noticed.
It’s this seamlessness that we seek at junctures...in the day & night..in the breath..in the season.
And as one season closes, despite having no indication of alignment to the next, we must pause.
Pause to remember what’s being left behind...to observe transition with presence.
Pause to witness a juncture in the night, in the breath, in the revival of the mind.
