Captain America was first created in 1941 and designed as the "super soldier" who fought the Axis powers during World War 2. This character, created by Jack Kirby and Joe Simon, was a metaphor for every child's father who had been sent to war. A fightr of truth, justice and for peace who gave comfort, strength and pride in every American son who's father was fighting. Today "Capt" becomes an icon, of the United States of America, and has recently been revitalized through the Marvel Universe and it's Hollywood studios. By learning about the horrors of war through a child-hood hero, Captain America can teach us and let us experience many things that our ancestors lived through, and we can experience this in a peaceful, fun and learning way that brings us closer together to our family and others. Painted with the finesse of a master modern day painter, in remembrance of the greek gods that this character resembles, embodied in a new medium. Part of the #stantheman project by Jake Johnson @ www.BigComicArt.com. Forever Immortalized on the Ethereum Blockchain in remembrance of what this man, and others like him have taught us and their roles in shaping our modern society.
