Runiko Randomiko (aka Flan*) explores the past, present and future of humanity through the material and digital trail that the human being has left during his existence, portraying in his works his nature full of visual richness, stories and symbolism, using real and synthetic images from internet historic datasets, mixing them into unique portraits with collage, creative coding, randomness and improvisation as the main ingredients of the artist.

On this art belonging to the BYNxRECOVER collection, the artist creates a portrait made up of fragments of the covers of the Blanco y Negro magazine published between 1917 and 1923, a hundred years before the Cryptopunks were launched, considered one of the first NFTs launched on Ethereum, as a tribute to a magazine that was one of the first to use illustration and cover art and pioneering the use of color.
