Mercedes-Benz NXT Icons as digital collectibles are digital re-interpretations of Mercedes-Benz's most iconic designs. The design of this card is based on the Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG Black Series: The Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG Black Series, limited to 350 units, was unveiled in Monterey, California in 2008 - the third Black Series model from AMG. Larger turbochargers and a new intercooler raised the output of the 6.0-liter V12 biturbo engine to 493 kW (670 PS) - the most powerful AMG model to date. To protect the transmission, the engine's enormous torque of 1,200 Nm had to be limited to 1,000 Nm. Instead of the electrically retractable vario-roof, the Black Series variant is a hard top made of carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP). The result: lighter, lower, and a reduced center of gravity. Thanks to the consistent use of CFRP, the Black Series is 250 kg lighter than the regular SL 65 AMG.
