So, when purchasing a record from a Vinyl Registry augmented release:
1) Make certain the seller transfers the associated NFT to you. 
2) Never purchase just the NFT, as it has no value other than proof of ownership. The real store of value is the vinyl record itself. 

Without the NFT, the provenance of the physical item is questionable. Without the vinyl, the NFT is just a worthless number in a contract on the blockchain.
