Schemm's work has been experienced around the world from Parisian bistros to New York City lofts and private collections. His work has been exhibited at Art Basel/Miami Beach, the Museum of Modern Art and Design in NYC, and auctioned at Christie’s and Sotheby’s. He has received numerous awards and prizes for his inventive installations. In 2009, Ann Temkin, Curator of Painting and Sculpture at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, had his work cataloged in the museum's library.
