The suncatchers collection is inspired by the mesmerizing reflection of the sun over the Miño river, making the mica and the sand at its shore shine for a fraction of minutes, as the sun continues to move around the Earth. In this collection of artwork, I use the reflection of the sunlight at a specific time of the day on the mica fragments contained in my watercolour paints, to capture a brief and unique moment of the day and encapsulate it in my art forever.
