The Art and Wine Club was created after many years researching, understanding and experiencing the Old Money - Private Members Clubs, Liveries and historic Faculties. The Founder of The Art and Wine Club (me) decided that there was a need to redress the private members club movement by creating an online and then MetaVersion his own version of the private members club community.
I found that the greatest difficulty with current (and previous) private members clubs was that once the gloss of the initial interest and thrills of the décor elapsed, along with the membership term, the members would then look for an alternative. It is not uncommon for private members clubs to try to recreate interest by a redecoration, new menu, or other marketing hook to retain members (renewals).
