While fog is usually seen as dark and dreary weather, many of the residents of the Bay Area see it as something a little more uplifting. For us, it feels as though the fog is a living breathing creature, welcomed by the bay, providing for the lush surrounding landscape. The fog travels in from the sea floating across the cliff's edge, wrapping around the trees and making spectacular wave-like shapes across the hills. We have spent the last 8 years finding beauty in and above it. We can still remember the first times chasing, hiking through an abyss of grey up and up until finally a little window to the sky appears. The sensation standing atop the fog banks is truly surreal. Each and every moment is unique and provides endless photographic opportunities. That's why even after 8 years, we still find something new.
