“Summits of the West” is a collection of 20 images detailing the unique characteristics of individual peaks, volcanoes, and summits that scrape the sky along the west coast of North America. From Alaska to California, this collection spans over 2,500 miles of land from North to South. With over five years of backpacking and living among these mountains, “Summits of the West” is the embodiment of my obsession with the wild and hard to reach places of this region of the World. 

Each image in this collection is a fragment of my story, a fraction of a second in my life when my eyes aligned with a far away landscape. From dancing fog to sunrise alpenglow, my fascination with the beauty and complexity of these summits only grows stronger with time. This is a brief look into my journey as a photographer and my experience among these giants that scrape the sky.
