This limited collection of 33 rare motifs aims to represent the balkan culture through a futuristic lens, preserving the ancient symbols that can be traced to the environment, nature, to the vegetation and the fauna. 

The main inspiration for these illustrations is the balkan textiles motifs that were stitched as a code, exploring the fantasies of the anonymous artisans who made them and the ritual masks that are still used in rituals today. 

These traditions are almost a lost art, a language of signs and symbols from the mythical times – times when clothes facilitated a dialogue with the unseen forces of the cosmos.
