Masterpieces, Reimagined uniquely combines art and algorithms, humans and computers. Images of famous paintings are passed through a function to place each pixel in a new location. These are not just any functions. They are self-inverse. Passing the image into the same transforming function yields the original masterpiece.

The NFTs are not only the reimagined images but the computer program containing the self-inverse function. The program passes the NFT image data into the function, revealing the original. The process proves that, though the transformed image may seem wholly different, each contains every pixel in the original piece.

Both the image and program will stand the test of time, living on the permaweb.
