Precious Beasts are glass sculptures which I record through light on photographic paper in the darkroom as photograms.
This process is an exploration of our creative essence. 
Homo Sapiens started making marks on stones, ostrich shells and cave walls some 75,000 years ago. 
As a hommage to our ancestors these carved sculptures are captured, not on cave walls but digitally.
Each hand developed exposure is digitally scanned, cropped and drawn on digitally - bringing us full circle, linking prehistory and the now!
