Laurence Fuller is a British-Australian artist, poet, and actor pioneering the fusion of Romanticism and AI in contemporary art. His practice, known as cinematic poetry, unites voice, text, and image to explore mythic archetypes, emotion, and the human condition in the digital age. The POEM Collection continues this vision through 154 short-form works, each lasting fifteen seconds ~ fragments of a larger poetic saga. Inspired by the structure of haiku and Shakespeare’s Sonnets, the series captures the search for beauty in the digital age. Fuller’s work has been exhibited internationally at the National Museum of Art in Rome, Museum Angewandte Kunst in Frankfurt, LUME Studios in New York, NFC Lisbon, and Art Basel Miami. A graduate of the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, he has collaborated with Val Kilmer, Vincent D’Onofrio, Peter Howson, and Tania Rivilis ~ bringing Romanticism into dialogue with film, technology, and fine art.
