The *"Paint inspired by poetry"* collection includes my **oil paintings** ranging from the 70s to today. In painting I prefer oils that make the images more brilliant and mellow but sometimes I use tempera that dries quickly and does not create problems for any retouching.
The body of the fat and shiny oil can become material in the overlapping of repeated glazes and create sculptural thicknesses with the spatula that cannot be obtained with tempera. Watercolors that require extreme delicacy do not fall within my painting as, loving sculpture, I need strong and decisive pigments.
