OUT OF THE BLACK is the first collection of NFT's from international Underwater Photographer Kate Westaway. 
12 unique NFTs in the collection. Only 1 edition minted of each.  
The underwater world is often portrayed as bright blue, clear seas, golden sandy bottoms and colourful tropical fish but it can also be much darker, both metaphorically and visually. Descent through rough waves often reveals a cold, dark stillness and a feeling that you don't belong there, the risk is yours and anything could happen. As you scour the murky water column you know that something could come out of the black from any direction.

Kate Westaway has travelled the globe photographing marine life and has developed an extensive underwater portraiture portfolio. Her work has been published all over the world, including in Time Magazine. In 2009 she was shortlisted for the prestigious Terry O'Neill Award.
