I often come across abandoned objects which stirs hidden emotions in me. Emotions, that arise when i empathise with all the layers of life experienced with an abandoned object. My stirred imagination deeply invigorates my curiosity to decipher the hidden world which this object has been through. The stories it has witnessed, the politics it has withstood. Its identity, essence and its eventual catharsis from being abandoned. There is always a presence of at least one abandoned object in my sculptures because i think there is some kind of presence in absence.
