 br[MCDXCII]ken

RARE HISTORICAL DIGITAL COLLECTIBLE

The ‘br[MCDXCII]ken’ series depicts a 3D render of a Christopher Colombus statue dating back to 1830 which was recently damaged by a self-proclaimed activist in The Bahamas (see https://yhoo.it/3CXLwr2). The statue, which was modelled in London and imported to The Bahamas by Governor Sir James Carmichael Smyth, remained intact for nearly 200 years prior. The ‘br[MCDXCII]ken’ collection is intended to be thought-provoking and disruptive; much like the world of decentralized finance (DeFi) and NFTs.

The Government of The Bahamas has since covered the damaged statue with tarp paper, and there is likely to be a motion to remove it altogether at some point in the near future (see https://bit.ly/3cTojvo). This may be one of the only forms of preservation of the 200 year old statue in its damaged state. That being said, the collection consists of 3 pieces in total; brvken_platinum, brvken_gold, and brvken_standard.
