"Livia Acquaviva (born in 1990) draws inspiration from a diverse range of art forms, spanning from Renaissance stained glass to Cubism, Fauvism, and the Memphis Movement. This has allowed her to forge a unique artistic universe of her own.
Her artistic practice is simultaneously instinctive and meticulously crafted. As a self-taught artist, she blends various painting techniques, primarily focusing on oil and acrylic. 
Livia primarily works with human figures, shaping, transforming, and deconstructing them to the point of fragmentation and abstraction. She creates almost geometric combinations with a vibrant, juxtaposed, and contrasting color palette.
Livia's work is characterized by a fragmented color aesthetic and intricately intertwined characters. Her recurring iconography revolves around two elements: multiple faces with intersecting gazes and the representation of celestial bodies - the Eye and the Sun."
