Lifelike by A Bad Think

Can music be lifelike?

A Bad Think is on a journey to explore just how immersive and lifelike music can be.

In his 2021 album "Lifelike," Grammy-nominated producer Michael Marquart worked with Bob Clearmountain, Dave Way, and Steve Genewick to record and mix a rock album in Dolby Atmos. Many talented performers came together - Jeremy Stacey, Sean Hurley, Fernando Perdomo, Kirk Hellie, and more - to lay down tracks that make you feel like you're in the room.

Working with such new and advanced technology to create 3D listening experiences, it's impossible not to think about the origin and meaning of music - and the building blocks that regularly bring music into existence.

This collection features the individualized stems of a never-before-heard, unreleased track from A Bad Think's seminal album "Lifelike."

As cells are the building blocks of life, stems are the building blocks of music.
