Drop # 1 [Luxuria] is a series of 3 NFTs made and presented by Federico Schott in collaboration with Ladrón Galería, which seeks to approximate new forms of consumption and valuation to question unnecessary luxury and the damage of capitalism to the understanding of life, the context in which this happens and the aesthetics of the tension between artificial needs and their social and environmental repercussions. A glass of champagne on a first class flight [Luxux (Dom Perignon Remix)], the vortex of a coffee maker [Vortex01.mp4] and a three-dimensional branch with thorns [NFT Aesthetic] are the representation of these concerns, an experiment of unknown scope that faces another economic fact of ambivalent value: collecting.
