Since 1955 the Brazilian artist, son of Italian immigrants, began his career in the world of arts. He took painting classes in Rio de Janeiro and was a student for a short time, as a guest of the atelier of Master Di Cavalcante.

He worked commercially in scenarios for Samba schools, between the years 1960/1970. He was responsible for part of the restoration art work of the chapel at Moinho São Jorge in São Paulo, besides the promotional displays for Nestle, in the 1980s for the São Paulo amusement park PlayCenter.

In the 70's a few of his political cartoons were publish in the newspaper O Pasquim.
