Invisible Cities - Calais

Invisible Cities Calais is a photography archive (2015-2016) by Marco Tiberio (b.1988) about “The Jungle”, the former refugee camp of Calais, France. “The Jungle” was a large rural area of 500,000m2, surrounded by a 5 meters-high metallic fence and equipped only with water and lights. At its peak, more than 8000 people used to inhabit the camp.

The archive is a collection of 101 pictures of buildings and public spaces built and lived by the refugees of the camp. Since its demolition in 2016, the camp’s architecture has become part of the European social and cultural heritage. Owning part of this collection means owning part of the camp's memory.

Each NFT is initially priced at 1ETH and 10% of the proceeds will go to UNHCR until the goal of €30,000.00 is reached (5% thereafter). The remaining profit will help me to expand Index Tiberi with more projects and spread them to a larger audience.

Thank you all for making this happen.
