January 28, 1993 - Bernard Colman received his B.A. (Hons. in Mathematics and Physics) from Brooklyn College in 1954, and his Ph.D. from Brown. In 1963 he was appointed assistant professor of mathematics at the State University of New York at Oak Ridge.
