Innermost by Brian Morris is a visual exploration of ideas, feelings and experiences that bring people together. Each piece captures a feeling difficult to put into words, visualizing the intangible sensations inside all of us. Feelings which are amplified when felt with another person.The Innermost collection evolved from Brian’s ongoing study of glass profiles filled with a myriad of ideas. What began as a single glass silhouette become a playground for experimenting without the goal to ever be “complete”. Free of limitations or expectations, Brian found new looks within his signature See-Thru Surrealism. The glass forms of Innermost expand on the key themes he found within this ongoing pursuit. Much like the study that lead to this work, the collection centers around consistent forms within different looks, and consistent looks in different forms.
