Holi Festival

Holi, the festival of colours, is one of the most popular Indian festivals. While Holi is celebrated in almost every part of India, Holi in Braj region is especially famous.

Braj is a historical region composed of Mathura, Vrindavan, Barsana, Nandgaon and some nearby villages, where Holi celebration commences a week before rest of the country.

There are different customs and legends associated with Holi in different regions of india. Lath Mar Holi is one of the main attractions of Holi and is an exclusive ritual of Barsana and Nandgaon town of Uttar Pradesh.
