"Her Name was River" is the first collection of “River” trilogy created by artist Belkis Taskeser alas "The Grandmother of NFT". 

The first collection of the trilogy is a spiritual study of growing up, a tricolor exhibition of awareness of the processes of woman maturation, a love letter to the life because deep in our darkest fears we all need hope and light. 

All the 1/1 works in this collection were painted with an acrylic pen on a 14,5 x 21 cm paper. 

Belkis lived in Paris and participated in various solo and mixed exhibitions in Europe, USA and Turkey.  Her works were selected to the collection of Musee D’art Naif in Paris. Her paintings mostly in gouache, ink and mixed media  are in international private collections. She is currently living and creating new works in Istanbul.
