G010 Setouchi Aki Area

This is the 10th installment of the "Let's Travel Japan through Paintings" series. This time, the setting is Aki Province in the Seto Inland Sea. In reality, it is the western part of Hiroshima Prefecture (west of Hiroshima City). The area that corresponds to Hiroshima City in reality is an alluvial plain with abundant water sources. The rest of the area is mainly mountainous. The castle in this area is Hiroshima Castle. The rivers depicted are, from right to left, the Ota River (Motoyasu River and Tenma River) and the Oze River. The roads depicted are National Routes 2 and 54.
