#003 Fix & Foxi Summer 1979
In the beginning of the 1950s, in the turbulence of post-war Germany, the publisher Rolf Kauka created an unique phenomenon, whose popularity seems unbroken across generational boundaries right up to the present day: Fix & Foxi. As a counterpart to popular US-American comic characters, Kauka deliberately drew on well-known and established figures of German folk poetry and tried to transform the then grubby image of comics towards social acceptance. Kauka's wish was always to inspire young people with the most powerful media of our time: starting with the publication of the comics, of which more than 300,000,000 copies were sold by 1994, Fix & Foxi are now also taking over the world of digital collectibles - fully experienceable in Augmented Reality.
