EG뮤지컬컴퍼니는 2015년 2월 대구에서 설립되어 현재 서울과 대구에서 창작 뮤지컬을 전문적으로 기획, 제작하는 단체이다. '시대와 세대를 초월해 전 세계가 공유하는 작품'을 선보이는 것을 목표로 하며, 한국적 정서가 돋보이는 인물과 플롯을 통해 세계가 공감할 수 있는 주제의 창작 뮤지컬로 관객들과 소통한다. 감각적 드라마 이해 및 분석을 통한 편곡과 라이브 연주로 대외적인 집중을 받는 '이응규' 감독을 필두로 활발한 활동을 이어가고 있다. 대표작으로는 [YOU&IT], [Fakebook], [러브랭귀지], [모하당 김충선] 등이 있으며, 최근 뮤지컬 [You & It]의 대만 수출, 영국 진출로 한국 뮤지컬을 국제무대에 알리는 데 도전하고 있는 젊고 역동적인 단체이다.
EG Musical Company was established in Daegu in February 2015 and is currently an organization that specializes in planning and producing original musicals in Seoul and Daegu. Our goal is to create "Original musicals shared by the world across the times and generations", and we meet the audience with the original musicals that the world can sympathize with, through characters and plots with Korean sentiments. Director Lee Eung-gyu leads the company, who receives big attention through sensuous arrangements and live performances based on drama understanding and analysis. We are a young and dynamic team that is challenging to promote Korean musicals to the international stage with the recent export of You & It to Taiwan and the UK. Our representative works include [You & It], [Faekbook], [Love Language], [General Kim], etc.
