Dungeons of Fortune

From the beginning we believed that Dungeons of Fortune should be able to be played without needing to read 30 minutes of documentation, features, or mechanics. Throughout the game players will notice carefully placed tool tips to guide them. Next was an easily digestible core game loop that felt fun, rewarding, and gave purpose to the characters and their growth. However, it is also needed to be layered with enough complexity to reward strategy and create a sense of agency in the player.

Player-Driven

We wanted to let players choose their pace, regardless of whether they're casually playing through dungeons or grinding to the max level as soon as possible. One of the core tenets we held close was not forcing players to have to play a game all day to succeed.

So, send heroes in to the dungeons and watch them fight for you or turbo-skip through dozens of runs in minutes. The choice is yours! And for players that prefer to check in even less often, they will find their way to the bank for a set-and-forget staking strategy.

We wanted you to decide how deep you went. After all, it is your time, your pace, and your strategy.

Smart Design Meets Strategic Speculation

Finally, leaning into the fun side of DeFi was important. GameFi all tends to lean one direction by forcing you to play a game that isn't all that fun, so we wanted to lean in the other direction. With an emphasis on derived mathematical equations, a complicated economy, intelligent backend systems, and visibly rewarding mechanics, we aimed to build a world that blended DeFi into GameFi through the numbers.
