Trypanosomiasis(a.k.a. Sleeping sickness) is a disease caused by a protozoan pathogen called trypanosoma, which causes a person to die from sleep. This work is a narrative digital work based on Trypanosomiasis. It's about reflecting on what life, surface, and sleep and death are in a digital environment, starting with the surface of a moving glass similar to a trypanosoma that causes sleeping sickness in a graphic-surface digital world.

With the help of artificial intelligence, the artist created a background image that became a space for stories about dreams she had and dreams she collected. The image of the dream space was applied to the 3D trypanosoma glass surface and cast. Only those who purchase NFT can read the whole story of their dreams.


The collection is a linked project to the 2022 Ars Electronica K-ARTS Festival: Human Touch, held between September 7-11.
