Traditional Cotton of Myanmar

Traditional cotton manufacturing is a fading trade in Myanmar. Only a few remnant villages around Inle Lake still dye and dry cotton cloth by hand, the traditional way. This is a series of photographs taken of several extended families involved in such cotton manufacturing and trade. All these photographs are taken as single images without digital layering or composites - they are real time captures of precious moments in history.
