is an exploration of planting false memories. In this experiment, I've taken real frames from home films taken over two decades in small-town Wisconsin and the surrounding areas and explored their outer limits through AI outpainting. I'm transfixed by the idea of expanding the scene to include things that definitely didn't occur but are still possible. Where a fraction of a whole image is actually TRUE - if at least interpreted by the camera at that given moment in time. 

Additionally, I'm intrigued by the concept that every time we "remember" a memory, that memory degrades a little more becoming more and more corrupted until there isn't a thread to grasp and that moment has become so dim or abstract that it is something completely different altogether.
