these poems eschew capitalization and punctuation for the express purpose of enabling multiple interpretations; read them slowly and multiple times, and imagine how additional commas or the use of a word as either a noun or a verb changes the connotations associated with the verse. the end result can be the co-existence of multiple ideas in the same space, and could thus be understood as an exploration of a world ever so slightly closer to insanity as a result of the release of the grammatic restrictions that add precision to thought.  i therefore felt it appropriate to write these poems before my morning coffee had fully taken effect in waking me up.
