This collection is based on a set of 40 masks made from concrete scraps during the most critical period of the pandemic in Brazil, which began after the carnival of 2020 and culminated in a great period of isolation. Seeking a way to deal with the insecurity and fear of the lurking unknown, I produced 40 masks using an old carnival mask as a mold. Now, the mask images are manually receiving digital artistic treatment, creating new images. Each mask is unique. The first collection was launched with 20 units. Next, more masks will be made, based on the original concrete masks. Buyers of the works will have access to the link to watch the video art made with the original masks, thus viewing all 40 masks, as they were produced by the artist.
