Richard Desmarais is a Canadian photographer and compositor with over 50 years experience in shooting hi-tech, lo-tech, and no-tech. In the last few years he has been specializing in art composites.

The work of Richard Desmarais is influenced by surrealist painters such as René Magritte, M.C. Escher, Willing, and Hipgnosis who created record album cover artwork for Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin and many other British bands in the 1970s.
