Many points in the world are protected by UNESCO due to their natural and historical features. One of these is the city of Safranbolu, which is on the list with its historical houses and cultural values. While only the cities were taken under protection in other regions, the blacksmith too in the Demirciler Bazaar in Safranbolu takes its place on the list as a "living human treasure".

Today, their professions are on the verge of extinction due to developing technology and changing living conditions. These masters, who could not find even an apprentice to train for themselves, are the last representatives of a tradition that has lasted for centuries.

The bazaar, which comes to life with the sound of hammers of blacksmiths, is the last place where the past lives in the historical city. When the last master hits his last hammer, his farewell to the profession will echo in the bazaar and the historical city will fall into silence.
