Emma Miller is an acclaimed singer-songwriter based in Edinburgh, Scotland. After earning a first class honours degree in Songwriting and making a name for herself in London, she began releasing music as an independent artist in 2017. Touted as "one to watch" by BBC Radio and praised by critics, she soon learned that the reality of pursing music full time was both thrilling and painfully challenging.
During the pandemic, Emma turned to Twitter where she found connection and community in the most unlikely of places - digital Spaces. She spent her evenings performing her songs live through her phone to strangers across the globe and she was met with overwhelming support. Her newfound community encouraged her to experiment with bringing her work to the blockchain. Soon she began releasing intimate collections of her work as Music NFTs and watching as they would sell out and her following grow.
In April 2023 Miller launched her most ambitious project to date, 'Artifacts', a collection of 5 of her original songs distributed across 1000 tokens featuring the mercurial creatures of moths as the artwork. Her vision extended beyond just owning the tokens; she encouraged her community of collectors to trade, swap and unlock the exclusive experiences through their tokens.
Since then, Emma has hosted the first Artifacts community event in Scotland, produced Artifacts vinyl records and performed for collectors from around the world. This Autumn she's unlocking another exciting layer to the Artifacts experience with her first online Songwriting Workshop.
