Self portraits are fun to make since we grow at ease in our own company, but how about photographing oneself from meters above the earth and telling a story? When I was shooting these self portraits, I was thinking about the interaction between large corporations and little businesses, established personalities and those who aspire to follow in their footsteps, and societal giants and those who follow in the paths they create. Many times, we see our society's giants, or even ourselves, set a high bar that is nearly difficult to fulfill given our limitations and poor status as persons or followers. We are frequently carried away by their tremendous successes, forgetting that we must also grow in order to keep up with them. We run in our narrow restricting stature, oblivious to the process of expansion and ignoring the principles of enlargement in our numerous professions.

Giants aren't there to compete with; rather, they're there to encourage growth and stability.
