90s kids will be a digital collectible project that will be inspired by the trends of the 1990's / 2000's and the skateboard culture. We want to develop a brand with a unique aesthetic that will connect NFTS, Clothing and Skateboarding. We aim to create exclusive products that will generate a hype around the community, by sponsoring events, skateboarders and artist and hosting monthly art and skate contests. We will build the next dope web3 brand.

The Story

Founded by Fvckrender and Gabriel Jetski, the idea for the project goes way back; when they were 10 years old, skating in parks, listening to gangstarr on their iPods.

It's by getting kicked out of several spots every day, blowing out their ankles on stair sets, watching 411 videos, playing tech deck and eating Subway (the only restaurant near the skatepark), that they built their passion for skateboarding.

They can't skate like they used to, but their passion for the sport remains.

”Being both artists, we have an interest in beautiful things and creation. That's why we created 90's kids." -Gab

Art Direction

Fvckrender has teamed up with Gabriel Jetski to usher in a new digital era for skate culture. They worked with a team of illustrators and collaborated with the creative agency NIGHTSHIFT to create this collection. The Coffee cup, VX, Keyset and Traffic Cone will be the different mascots that will represent the brand. They are full-body pieces wearing over 200 traits. Each will have a specific function, and your goal will be to possess them all.

Goal

Beyond just another PFP project, 90's Kids will support its community and encourage its members to create art and skate together. We will hold contests both on and off-board, both online and IRL and connect all our initiatives with the launch of a skate brand.

Inspiration

Skateboarding was originally based on a counter-culture ideology, but skateboarders' creativity and DIY attitude ended up impacting society in general, much like NFTs right now. This project pays homage to the striking power of skateboarding as a guiding force for creativity in the Web3 era. 90's Kids provides an example of transitioning existing spaces from physical to digital.
