OpenSea is now a data source inside Perplexity Computer, Perplexity's autonomous AI agent. With the OpenSea connector enabled, Perplexity Computer can draw on OpenSea's onchain market data to answer questions about tokens, collectibles, and onchain activity across more than 25 chains, with answers sourced directly from OpenSea.
The OpenSea connector makes OpenSea a live source of onchain market data inside Perplexity Computer. Once it is enabled, Perplexity Computer can surface the most traded tokens over a given period, top assets by market activity, and other onchain signals, and it can cite OpenSea directly in its answers.
What the OpenSea connector does
Perplexity Computer carries out multi-step tasks and grounds its answers in real, cited data. With the OpenSea connector, it can draw on OpenSea's view of the onchain economy, spanning tokens, collectibles, and NFTs across more than 25 chains. When you ask what's trading, gaining momentum, or drawing collectors, Perplexity Computer can pull live data from OpenSea and cite it directly, going beyond price feeds to reflect what people are actually buying and trading onchain.
What you can ask Perplexity Computer with OpenSea data
With the connector enabled, you can ask Perplexity Computer questions like:
- Which tokens are the most traded this week
- What assets are gaining momentum across chains
- Which collectibles are drawing the most collectors right now
Each answer can be grounded in OpenSea's onchain data and cited back to OpenSea, so the response reflects real marketplace activity rather than stale data or guesswork.
Why onchain data belongs in AI agents
“Onchain markets are built for AI agents. Everything is open, live, and verifiable,” said Devin Finzer, co-founder and CEO of OpenSea. “People are already asking what's moving onchain, and OpenSea in Perplexity Computer means those answers come straight from real marketplace activity, not from stale data or guesswork.”
“Onchain markets move too quickly for static answers," said Jeff Grimes, Head of Live Events Products at Perplexity. “By bringing OpenSea’s real-time, cross-chain data into Perplexity Computer, users can ask what is moving across tokens and collectibles and get a current, cited answer grounded in actual market activity.”
The integration is an example of how OpenSea's data can power AI products beyond its own platform, with more such integrations expected as agents take on a bigger role in how people navigate crypto.
How to enable the OpenSea connector in Perplexity Computer
You can turn on the OpenSea connector from the Connectors page in Perplexity Computer:
- Open Perplexity Computer and go to the Connectors page.
- Find the OpenSea connector and enable it.
- Start asking about tokens, collectibles, onchain activity, and more across chains.
